Nursing & Clinical Staff

RMA’s experienced RN’s and medical assistants will be a vital part of your journey with us. Our nurses will be your main contact throughout treatment and will be able to assist you with all of your questions. Our medical assistants will be your aid during appointments and ensure you are comfortable and that your visits are smooth. Our Recovery Room RN’s provide bedside care when patients undergo special procedures such as oocyte retrievals and transfers.

Lauren, RN

Lauren graduated from Oakland University’s Nursing school in 2014. She pursued her dream as a labor and delivery nurse for the first three years of her nursing career. From there she wanted to broaden her knowledge in women’s health care and accepted a job at RMA of Michigan in 2017. Here she has found her true passion in nursing and enjoys taking care of a variety of patients who she cherishes building such strong relationships with.

Courtney S., RN

In 2015 Courtney graduated from Mercy College of Ohio with high honors. She started her career as a Labor & Delivery nurse for three years at Beaumont Royal Oak and St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. Courtney came to RMA to expand her knowledge in women’s health and specialize in reproductive endocrinology. The best part of her job is bonding with her patients and helping them grow their families

Kayla J., RN

Kayla graduated from Madonna University’s Nursing program in 2017. Prior to becoming a nurse, Kayla was a Medical Assistant in labor and delivery at U of M for six years. The first year of her nursing career she worked on a medical/surgical unit. With a passion for women’s health, Kayla is excited to be back in this field as a fertility nurse at RMA of MI. Kayla’s favorite thing about working at RMA is the relationships that are formed with her patients while caring for them throughout their fertility journey.

Kayla M., R.N.

Kayla joined RMA of Michigan in 2014 and has loved learning about the field of infertility as a nursing assistant. She has a prior Bachelors of Science degree from Central Michigan University in Psychology and Substance Abuse. She later went back to Oakland University in 2019 and earned her Bachelors of Science in nursing in only one year and graduated with honors. The best part of her job is helping families grow! 

Erica, R.N.

Erica graduated from nursing school in 2015, starting her career in NICU before transitioning to the emergency room. Erica worked in both adult and pediatric ER’s at Beaumont Royal Oak and Children’s Hospital of Michigan before joining the team at RMA. She has always had a passion for women’s health and pediatrics which led her to pursue a career in reproductive endocrinology. Erica enjoys being a part of the RMA team and the relationships she gets to build with her patients. Erica says the best part of her job is having the opportunity to support patients during what can be, a stressful time and watching the joy they experience as they are able to grow their families!

Taylor, R.N.

Taylor graduated from University of Detroit Mercy’s Nursing program in 2019 with honors. She started her career as a student nurse extern in the emergency room, later pursing her dream as a pediatric ER nurse at Children’s Hospital of Michigan, where she worked for three years. With a passion for pediatrics and women’s health, Taylor is excited to broaden her knowledge to Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. The best part of her job is being able to provide comfort and support for her patients in the procedure room!

Tanya, CNMA

Tanya has been a medical assistant for 25 years working in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, OB/GYN, Vascular Surgeons and now Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. She has had the pleasure of being a part of the RMA team since it opened in 2006. She enjoys being a part of a team that makes couples dreams come true and seeing them become parents, which is an amazing experience!!!

Patricia, MA

Patricia has been a medical assistant for 12 years. She received her diploma in Medical Assisting from Everest Institute located in Southfield, MI in 2007. Prior to joining the wonderful team at RMA of Michigan she worked in urology for over 11 years. Patricia is also working on her BA in Science and Psychology and is happy to now be a part of an amazing team here at RMA of MI.

Monica, MA

Monica has been a Medical Assistant for over 11 years working in both family practice and pain medicine. She has a great appreciation for all the skills and experiences she has had throughout this time, but believes being a part of the journey to help a family conceive is by far the most rewarding. Since joining the team at RMA, she has felt nothing but welcomed and appreciated. She looks forward to many more years and many more babies!

Madeline, Clinical Assistant

Madeline graduated with honors from the University of Michigan in 2020 with B.S. in Gender & Health and minors in Biochemistry and French. Following graduation, she joined the RMA team as a clinical assistant. She is currently applying to medical school and hopes to become an OB/GYN. Her favorite part of working at RMA is learning about women’s health and having such a big impact on patients’ lives!


Taya has been a Sonographer for 14 years. She graduated from the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program at Jackson College in 2007.  She is dually registered in  Vascular Technology, as well as Obstetrics and Gynecology, which is where her passion for sonography lies. She has a vast range of experience working at different types of medical facilities, but wanted to get back to what she loves.  Taya accepted a position at RMA in 2021 and is “truly excited to start a new journey and join an amazing  team that does amazing work.”
