Who are RMA of Michigan's advanced practice providers? Our advanced practice providers are Alyssa Dennie, NP-C, a board-certified nurse practitioner, and Katelyn D'Haene, PA-C, a board-certified physician assistant. Both work within our Troy, MI reproductive endocrinology team, providing personalized guidance and compassionate support across fertility evaluation, IUI, IVF, fertility preservation, and PCOS care.
Alyssa Dennie, NP-C
Nurse Practitioner — Reproductive Endocrinology
Alyssa Dennie, NP-C, is a board-certified nurse practitioner who joined RMA of Michigan in the summer of 2025. She brings prior experience in reproductive medicine, caring for individuals and families across a range of conditions as they work toward parenthood. Having navigated her own fertility journey, she offers a deeply empathetic perspective and is dedicated to helping patients feel confident, informed, and supported.
Before specializing in fertility care, Alyssa worked for many years in orthopedics, trauma, and family medicine, supporting patients through some of the most difficult challenges of their lives. She has a particular interest in caring for patients with PCOS and those pursuing fertility services in the context of an oncology diagnosis, and is well versed in the conditions that can affect a patient's fertility.

- Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner Program, Chamberlain University, 2018 (with distinction)

Katelyn D'Haene, PA-C
Physician Assistant — Reproductive Endocrinology
Katelyn D'Haene, PA-C, earned her Bachelor of Science at Central Michigan University, graduating magna cum laude from the CMU Honors Program with a major in Exercise Science (Kinesiology). She completed her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies, also at Central Michigan University, followed by an emergency medicine fellowship and five years of practice at Level I and Level II trauma centers.
Katelyn developed her passion for reproductive endocrinology while facing her own experience with infertility, and she is committed to making fertility medicine the focus of her career. She believes that personal experience allows her to care for patients with deeper empathy and compassionate support throughout their journey.
Education- Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science (Kinesiology), Central Michigan University — Honors, magna cum laude
- Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies, Central Michigan University
- Emergency medicine fellowship, with five years of practice at Level I/II trauma centers
